    Hi,

    Now I came to a point i´m not sure what was done. I thought I had flashed a IB4210B version, but reading the imageinfo file I see this:

    Code:
    Distribution="OpenWrt"Layout="Compact"
    UpgradeImages="zImage rd.gz hddapp.tgz"
    productName="IB-NAS4220-B"
    hardwareName="MP-LNU23SL"
    productVendor="   "
    VendorID="macpower"
    ProductID="pddlan"
    UpgradeVersion="300"
    ExtraVersion=""
    manufacturerURL="   "
    Description="IB-NAS4220-B"
    hostname="IB-NAS4220-B"
    softwareVersion="3.0"
    TSS="enabled"
    DIRECT_MODE="disabled"
    Raid_Support="raid0_raid1_raid5_linear"
    RaidTestDiskSize="0"
    Raid_Show_Disk="2"
    but the box, only stays with blue led on (power)... can´t see in network, can´t see the IP :(

    Hi,

    Would this be the correct cable to do the job?

    No. That is a passive cable, mainly an adapter.

    You'll need 3.3V TTL serial, which by default is not provided by a PC, so you'll need an active cable. Something like this.

    Some are FT232, some are RS232... don´t know what´s the difference.

    Thank you again

    FT232, PL2302, CP2102
    are common chipsets for this

    You need 3,3 volts on TX line.

    I remember some problems in the level shifter with one of the adapters.
    The device will no start if TX form the adapter is plugged

    Hi all,

    Finnaly got myself a cable... but now, all the problems begun.
    My cable is like this:
    $_57.JPG

    Don´t know which pin to connect where on board. Anyone can explain?

    Next is about how to flash part by part.
    Been reading the wiki unbrick page, however most of the links don´t work anymore, and procedures ain´t much of a help to me.
    Can someone be kind enough to explain, step by step what to do?

    Thank you
